3.9 Miles

Today I started with a not-so-great attitude. Brody woke up more than usual last night, and his last feeding of the night started at 4:40. That meant that instead of sleeping "in" until 5:30, I got up even earlier. So, I was a little cranky as I started running. I realized very quickly that that is not a good way to start my run. It took me a long time to get out of that rut. I was thinking negatively the whole way to Cherry St. I almost turned around short of my goal (Cherry St.) at least 3 times, making excuses every time about why I shouldn't go that far. Once I got there, it was a relief. I stopped to stretch and breathe, and stayed a little longer than I should have. Once I was ready to start jogging back home I pumped up the music to my favorite running song and took off. Going home is so much easier because it is downhill quite a bit of the ways. The way home ended up being great. I think I jogged for longer stretches of time than I have before, too!
10 days down, 57 to go!
